Disproportionated Rosin, a light yellow transparent solid, which is made from gum rosin through the disproportionation by catalysts. It has good heat resistance, good reactivity, and excellent tackiness. It is soluble in aliphatic, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, ketones, and esters, insoluble in water.

Used for adhesive, pigment, dye, coating, inks.

Used to make potassium soap, used as an emulsifier for synthetic rubbers such as styrene butadiene rubber, chloroprene rubber, nitrile rubber, ABS etc.
